Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Levy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns comes to the cage accompanied by Cocaine Blues. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tim Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Augustus Levy!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns throws a nice looking combination but Levy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Levy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Levy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johns stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Levy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johns doesn't seem bothered though.
Johns closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Levy to the mat! Levy manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johns passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The strikes coming from Johns are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Levy tries to buck Johns off but Johns is having none of it.
Johns is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Levy has escaped the position, nice work there.
Levy tries to bench press Johns off him but Johns keeps the position.
Levy is trying to control Johns's posture but Johns avoids it.

Levy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johns kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Levy prevents Johns from moving into mount.
Levy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Johns working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Levy's thigh. Levy counters though and makes it back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Levy is on top in guard.
Johns is trying to hold Levy in close to prevent damage but Levy has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Levy prevents Johns from improving his position.
Johns moves into full guard.
Johns looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Johns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Levy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Levy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Levy tries to free his leg and advance position but Johns is retaining full guard.

Johns is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Levy is aware though and is defending well.
Levy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Let's hope that Levy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Augustus Levy was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Johns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Levy was well out of range. Poor timing from Johns.

Levy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Johns slips a straight right by Levy.
Levy works over Johns's head and body with a nice combination.
Levy works Johns's body with a nice hook.
Johns tries to clinch there but Levy circles away.

Levy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johns shoots in for a double leg but Levy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Levy misses with a few strikes there.

Levy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johns.
Johns is breathing heavily.

Levy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Levy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johns looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Levy lands a nice hook to Johns's body. Johns takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johns shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Levy misses with an uppercut
and Johns counters with a three punch combo that has Levy backing up. Levy nods at Johns to acknowledge the strikes.
Levy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Levy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Levy connects with a looping right hand.
Levy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Augustus Levy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johns shoots in for a double leg but Levy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Johns drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Levy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Johns takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Johns slips a jab from Levy.
Johns looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Levy throws a series of strikes that have Johns backpedaling.
Johns is rocked!
Levy scores with a jab to the body.
Levy lands a jab to the head.
Oh Johns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Levy, as that shot connected.
Levy drops Johns with a huge uppercut! Johns drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Levy is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Augustus Levy!
