Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Adonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adonis has chosen Ether as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Boris Kharitonov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Kharitonov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Julius Adonis!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov throws a lazy head kick
and Adonis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Horrible takedown by Adonis or perhaps it was just good defense by Kharitonov which made him look bad.
Kharitonov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Adonis has time to react.
It looks like Julius Adonis has been cut.
Adonis tries to close the distance and clinch but Kharitonov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Adonis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kharitonov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Adonis, pushing him back against the cage.
Adonis lands an elbow inside that Kharitonov shrugs off.
It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut.
Kharitonov lands with a short shot to the head.
Kharitonov drops Adonis onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Adonis is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Adonis is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kharitonov.
Kharitonov tries to stall but Adonis uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch on the inside from Kharitonov fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kharitonov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Adonis backwards.
Adonis is still on wobbly legs! Can Kharitonov finish him?
Kharitonov has a couple of punches blocked by Adonis.
Kharitonov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kharitonov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kharitonov misses with a hook from the clinch.
Adonis blocking some punches.
Adonis seems to have recovered his senses.
Adonis lands an elbow inside that Kharitonov shrugs off.
Adonis misses with some punches.
Kharitonov fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kharitonov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Adonis pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Kharitonov lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Adonis.
Kharitonov creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Adonis with a big uppercut! Adonis tries to clinch up but Kharitonov pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Adonis to the mat! Adonis covers up and Kharitonov unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Boris Kharitonov!
