Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritzz Aira Goiti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvin Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goiti comes to the cage accompanied by Vaacooolaw!!!. Reyes has chosen D' Awassss as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fritzz Aira Goiti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvin Reyes! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes gets a clinch. Reyes has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Goiti uses from the top position. Reyes wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goiti is looking to stand up but Reyes won't let him. Goiti preventing the sweep. Reyes is looking to stand up but Goiti isn't so interested in that idea. Reyes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Reyes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Goiti throws a nice outside leg kick. Reyes looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Reyes working some strikes from top position. Goiti has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Goiti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reyes manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Goiti looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reyes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. It looks like Goiti is going to stand back up.
Reyes tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Goiti stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Reyes looks gassed! Goiti drives through and clinches with Reyes against the cage.

Goiti darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goiti prevents Reyes from improving his position. Goiti wants to take a breather but Reyes is having none of it. Goiti looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Reyes is staying active underneath Goiti, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reyes regains full guard. Nicely done. Reyes keeping moving, preventing Goiti from controlling successfully. Goiti stands and steps away. Reyes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Goiti throws a series of strikes that have Reyes backpedaling.
Reyes feints and as Goiti raises his hands in defense, Reyes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Reyes stands up from guard. Let's bang! Goiti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Goiti shoots in and drives through. Reyes sprawls well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Goiti bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Reyes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Reyes scores with a jab to the jaw. Reyes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Goiti swats him away and circles back towards the center. A punch combination from Reyes misses. Reyes tries to clinch up. Goiti tries to clinch there but Reyes circles away.

It looks like Elvin Reyes has been cut. Reyes is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Goiti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reyes can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goiti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Goiti landing a few strikes. Goiti tries to move into full mount but can't pass Reyes's legs. Goiti wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reyes keeps working. Reyes is trying to get back to half guard. Goiti decides to take the fight back to the feet. Goiti is looking to clinch. Reyes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Reyes has managed to clinch.

Goiti is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Reyes lands an elbow that stopped Goiti in his tracks for a moment. Reyes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Goiti is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Reyes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Reyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Goiti shoots and misses enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. Reyes fails in his attempt to clinch. Goiti avoids the head kick by Reyes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goiti's corner calls for a 1-2. Goiti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Goiti rushes Reyes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Goiti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fritzz Aira Goiti. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reyes goes for a takedown attempt but Goiti pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reyes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Goiti to the mat! Goiti manages to get full guard. Reyes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Goiti tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reyes chips away with some ground and pound. Reyes working some strikes from top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reyes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Reyes stands up over Goiti, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Reyes lands a couple of elbows. Reyes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Reyes is looking for a kimura but Goiti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reyes to get the leverage. Reyes is working for a kimura but Goiti is defending it quite comfortably.
Goiti regains full guard. Nicely done. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Goiti looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Reyes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Let's hope that Reyes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. That was a close second round but I would say that Fritzz Aira Goiti will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Elvin Reyes's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Goiti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reyes's waist but Reyes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goiti off to one side. Reyes shoots in and drives through. Goiti sprawls well. A combination from Goiti does no damage.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Goiti uses from the top position. Reyes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Goiti looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Reyes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goiti is one step ahead there. Reyes looking to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reyes pushes a forearm under Goiti's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Goiti is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
