Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michal Marcheweka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ishi Inamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcheweka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Skinnyman-Static-X. Michal Marcheweka has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Marcheweka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ishi Inamoto! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inamoto misses with a takedown and Marcheweka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Marcheweka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Marcheweka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcheweka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Marcheweka is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Inamoto has escaped the position, nice work there. Inamoto can't do much from the bottom here. Marcheweka goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Inamoto has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marcheweka but great work by Inamoto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inamoto is looking to take a break and control but Marcheweka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Inamoto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marcheweka, who protects the arm well. Inamoto wants to stand but Marcheweka is controlling his arm. Inamoto trying to control the position but Marcheweka is working away. Marcheweka manages to work his way to half guard, despite Inamoto's best efforts. Marcheweka is not content to let Inamoto control the position. Inamoto trying to pass the guard but Marcheweka defending well. Inamoto is looking for a kimura here.
Marcheweka is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inamoto pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Inamoto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Marcheweka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Inamoto is looking for a kimura but Marcheweka is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Inamoto to get the leverage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Marcheweka gets full guard. Inamoto slips nicely into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Marcheweka manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Marcheweka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Inamoto's guard. Marcheweka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Inamoto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marcheweka has Inamoto in his guard. Marcheweka is breathing heavily. Marcheweka working for a triangle but Inamoto defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Inamoto passes Marcheweka's left leg - he's now in half guard. Marcheweka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Inamoto seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Inamoto content to control rather than advance. Inamoto is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Inamoto passes the guard and advances to mount! Marcheweka sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Marcheweka is looking to improve his position.
Inamoto is keen to just control but Marcheweka is a slippery customer. Inamoto is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Marcheweka works his way to full guard. Good work. Marcheweka had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Inamoto defends it easily. Marcheweka wants to sweep here but Inamoto controlling him for the moment. Inamoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marcheweka swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcheweka takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Inamoto with a lazy takedown attempt and Marcheweka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Inamoto! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marcheweka goes for an armbar but Inamoto turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Inamoto. Michal Marcheweka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Marcheweka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Marcheweka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Inamoto is now in Marcheweka's guard. A big mistake from Marcheweka there, giving up the dominant position! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Inamoto wants to get up but he can't break Marcheweka's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcheweka wants to sweep here but Inamoto controlling him for the moment. Inamoto trying to control the position from guard on top but Marcheweka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Inamoto wants to get up but he can't break Marcheweka's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Marcheweka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Inamoto gets to his feet - Marcheweka follows without any prompting. Inamoto fails with the takedown and Marcheweka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Marcheweka. Marcheweka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inamoto seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Marcheweka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Inamoto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marcheweka, into his guard. Inamoto trying to stand up but can't free himself from Marcheweka's guard. Marcheweka keeping moving, preventing Inamoto from controlling successfully. Inamoto trying to stand up but can't free himself from Marcheweka's guard.

Inamoto controls from within his opponent's guard. Inamoto wants to stand but Marcheweka has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Marcheweka keeping full guard, as Inamoto tries to pass. Inamoto wants to stand but Marcheweka is controlling his posture from full guard. Marcheweka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Inamoto!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inamoto is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Marcheweka locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Inamoto is forced to tap!
