Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soz Sztrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eero Klinikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sztrova kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In a Heartbeat. Klinikka has chosen lets go as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Soz Sztrova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eero Klinikka!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klinikka tries for a takedown but Sztrova circles away easily
and Sztrova connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Klinikka fails with the takedown
and Sztrova counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Klinikka closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sztrova cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Klinikka.
Sztrova tries to escape but Klinikka is in control.
Sztrova is looking to regain half guard here but Klinikka keeps moving and retains side control.
Klinikka with the ground and pound but Sztrova regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Klinikka is thwarting Sztrova's attempts to control the position.
Sztrova is looking to escape.

Sztrova is looking to control Klinikka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sztrova avoid being mounted?
Klinikka stops Sztrova from getting back to his feet.
Klinikka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Klinikka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sztrova looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Klinikka wants to free his trapped foot but Sztrova is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Klinikka looking for a submission but Sztrova manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Klinikka tries to free his leg and advance position but Sztrova is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Klinikka has gone for a leg lock! Sztrova slips out almost immediately though and dives into Klinikka's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sztrova tries to free his leg and advance position but Klinikka is retaining full guard.
Sztrova wants to control from the top but Klinikka keeps moving.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Soz Sztrova.
Klinikka tries for a takedown but Sztrova circles away easily
and Sztrova counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Soz Sztrova has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eero Klinikka.
Klinikka wants to clinch but Sztrova slips to the side
enabling Sztrova to counter with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Klinikka misses with a takedown attempt
and Sztrova counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Klinikka looks gassed!
Sztrova lands a big head kick that sends Klinikka tumbling to the mat! Sztrova takes a step backwards and waves Klinikka back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Eero Klinikka has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sztrova drops Klinikka with a naaaaasty hook - Klinikka is in real trouble here! Sztrova dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
