Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patrick's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up to Boston. The key to victory for Jimi Patrick has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Harris! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris misses with a right hand and Patrick counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Lee Harris has been cut. A jab from Patrick does it's job there. Patrick moves into the clinch. Patrick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Patrick throws a poor cross that misses
and Harris counters by clinching up. Patrick is trying to force a seperation but Harris has the dominant position. Patrick is trying to push Harris away but Harris has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Harris gets through Patrick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Patrick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Patrick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Harris keeps control of Patrick as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Patrick wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Harris goes for a takedown attempt but Patrick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That has opened up Lee Harris's cut even more. Jimi Patrick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Patrick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Harris throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Patrick rushes Harris and presses him up against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Patrick.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Patrick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Harris is looking to take a break and control but Patrick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Patrick rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harris's guard! Nice work there by Patrick! Harris trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Harris is looking for a triangle but Patrick pushes his legs off easily.
Patrick stands up and waves to Harris to follow him. Harris shoots in and bounces Patrick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Patrick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harris looking to sit in guard and control but Patrick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Patrick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harris is looking for a triangle but Patrick pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patrick won't allow Harris to sweep him here. Harris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patrick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Patrick throws a big right hand that misses. Harris working for a triangle but Patrick defends it easily.
Harris has an active guard here but Patrick has managed to pass into half guard.
Harris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. It looks like Patrick is going to stand back up.
Patrick thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Harris's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Patrick throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Patrick has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harris is controlling Patrick's trapped leg to prevent Patrick from advancing to side control. Harris blocking the ground and pound attempt from Patrick. Patrick is thwarting Harris's attempts to control the position. Patrick frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Harris is looking to get to half guard. Lee Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Harris is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Jimi Patrick is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Harris is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patrick with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
