Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tez Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Difficult. Miller is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Salvation. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tez Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Miller! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller misses with a head kick.
Miller misses with a wild body shot. Miller throws a head kick that misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Miller. Johnson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Miller is holding on to half guard well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Johnson is working for a submission of some sort.
Miller keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Miller trying to hold on to Johnson's head to control him but Johnson postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking for a kimura but Miller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage. Johnson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Johnson is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position. Miller keeping control of the position. Johnson seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Miller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller manages to get to full guard.
Johnson is breathing heavily. Miller is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position. Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Miller drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Miller turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Miller taking a breather here. Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller controls the position. Johnson wants to get back to his feet. The referee asks Miller politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Miller prefers to stall for the moment though. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Miller decides to stand back up. Miller steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet. Miller forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches. Miller scores a nice knee to the body.

Aaron Miller dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Miller thuds a left hand into Johnson's body. Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters by moving into the clinch. Miller with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Miller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Miller crunches a lovely knee into Johnson's ribcage. Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Miller controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Miller lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Johnson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller lands a big elbow. Miller controlling the pace for now. Johnson is looking to improve his position but Miller isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Miller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Miller scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Miller gets to his feet. Johnson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Miller shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Miller slows the pace down. Johnson looks to move to half guard but instead Miller has passed into mount! Damn!

A nice elbow there by Miller. Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Miller throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Johnson blocks it with crossed arms. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller with the Thai clinch. Miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Johnson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Johnson seems a little lost for a moment, as Miller dominates the positioning. Johnson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Miller looking to control and managing it successfully. Johnson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Miller controlling the pace for now. Aaron Miller has got the better of the ground game so far.

And that's the end of the fight! Aaron Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
