Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leland Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramonez Valderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes to the cage accompanied by Portishead - Roads. Valderon has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Ramonez Valderon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer fails with the takedown
and Valderon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Valderon looks gassed!
Palmer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Valderon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Palmer is in Valderon's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palmer forces his way into half guard.
Palmer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Palmer seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Valderon is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
