Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldeira throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Patterson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Caldeira is in Patterson's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caldeira's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Patterson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Caldeira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Caldeira controlling the position.
Patterson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Caldeira decides to stand back up.
Patterson throws a right and a left that Caldeira avoids nicely.
Patterson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Caldeira's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Caldeira rushes Patterson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Patterson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Caldeira smiles and moves away.
Patterson tries for a takedown but Caldeira circles away easily
and Caldeira counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Caldeira with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Caldeira wants to work for an arm triangle but Patterson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Patterson wants to get back to full guard but Caldeira has mounted him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caldeira looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Caldeira looking to secure an arm triangle but Patterson defends it well.
Patterson looks gassed!

Caldeira controlling the pace for now.
Patterson is trying to reverse the position but instead Caldeira has taken his back - oops!
Caldeira scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Caldeira is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Caldeira gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Caldeira gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Caldeira apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Caldeira closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Patterson quickly recovers to half guard.
Caldeira is nestled in close to Patterson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Caldeira perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Caldeira is trying for a kimura here. Patterson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Caldeira wins by kimura!
