Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Garth Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marius Zaromskis ! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Snow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Snow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Snow tries to stand and escape but Zaromskis is controlling the position. Snow with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Zaromskis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snow's back! Zaromskis trying to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow breaks Zaromskis 's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Snow trying to control but Zaromskis is working from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Zaromskis keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Snow wanted to stand there but Zaromskis had control of the position. Snow sitting in guard here, content to control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Snow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Garth Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snow tries to clinch up.

Snow forces Zaromskis back against the cage and clinches. Zaromskis has hold of one of Snow's legs. Snow is fighting the takedown attempt but Zaromskis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Zaromskis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Zaromskis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snow is keeping the position for now. Zaromskis wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving. Snow wants to sweep but no luck. Snow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Snow keeping full guard, as Zaromskis tries to pass. Snow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Snow keeping moving, preventing Zaromskis from controlling successfully.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Snow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Snow throws a head kick but Zaromskis moves out of range.
Snow throws a leg kick that misses. Snow fails with a takedown attempt. Snow is breathing heavily. Snow shoots in for a takedown but Zaromskis shows good takedown defense. Zaromskis with a lazy takedown attempt and Snow counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Zaromskis manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaromskis keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Zaromskis trying to keep a closed guard but Snow is proving a slippery customer.
Zaromskis has control of Snow's left arm, preventing Snow from doing any damage. Zaromskis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Snow scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Snow stays in close to Zaromskis 's body and controls the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zaromskis holds on and takes a little breather. Snow wants to control from the top but Zaromskis keeps moving. Snow landing with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zaromskis has a closed guard, preventing Snow from standing up. Zaromskis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Snow is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Snow trying to stand up but can't free himself from Zaromskis 's guard. Snow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Snow makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Snow stands up from Zaromskis 's guard - Snow perhaps looking for a knockout. Zaromskis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Zaromskis keeping moving, preventing Snow from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snow has taken the fight to the clinch.
Snow tries to score a body lock takedown but Zaromskis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Snow is pressed up against the cage. Zaromskis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Snow down to the mat. Snow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zaromskis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Snow gets the takedown into side control. Snow tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Snow scoring with punches and elbows. Zaromskis is trying to work for a sweep but Snow has mounted him! Zaromskis tries to lock up and control but Snow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Snow trying to control but Zaromskis is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaromskis stops Snow from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Zaromskis reaches up and holds on to Snow to control the position. Zaromskis is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zaromskis tries to lock up and control but Snow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Zaromskis is trying to escape the mount.
Snow is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zaromskis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Snow trying to control but he's not successful this time. Zaromskis is desperately trying to improve his position but Snow has a good base and remains in mount. Zaromskis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Zaromskis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The referee warns Zaromskis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Snow unloading with bombs! Snow is landing with some decent strikes but Zaromskis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Snow controlling the pace for now. Snow throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zaromskis because Snow loaded up on that one. Snow trying to control but he's not successful this time. Zaromskis tries to lock up and control but Snow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Snow controlling the position easily from mount. Snow with shots to the head and body - Zaromskis looks very uncomfortable down there. Snow jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zaromskis manages to avoid the submission attempt. Zaromskis is trying to control Snow's posture but Snow avoids it. A lull in the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaromskis on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Snow working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Zaromskis tries to buck Snow off but Snow is having none of it. Zaromskis being controlled for a moment. Snow wants to control but Zaromskis is keeping him busy. Snow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zaromskis , who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Zaromskis 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Snow lands a few punches from side control. Snow wants to control but Zaromskis is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zaromskis tries to buck Snow off but Snow is having none of it. Snow tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Snow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zaromskis keeps working. Zaromskis taking punishment in the form of punches.
Snow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Zaromskis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Snow working away. Snow lands a few punches from side control. Snow is working Zaromskis over with some ground and pound from side control. Check out the look on Snow's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Zaromskis is rocked! Zaromskis is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Zaromskis 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Zaromskis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snow closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaromskis to the mat! Zaromskis manages to get full guard. Snow passes into half guard. Zaromskis has a hand on Snow's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Snow takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Zaromskis tries to hold on but Snow pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Snow. Zaromskis is still in real trouble! Can Snow finish him? Snow looking to secure an arm triangle but Zaromskis defends it well. Snow with good strikes from the mount here! Zaromskis regains half guard. Snow scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Snow trying to control from half guard but Zaromskis is working away. Zaromskis gets full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Snow wants to stand but Zaromskis is controlling his posture from full guard. Zaromskis seems to have recovered his senses. Zaromskis is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zaromskis is pulling down on Snow's head to control his posture. Snow tries to stand but Zaromskis is controlling from the bottom. Snow throwing strikes but missing. Snow is in close to Zaromskis 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Snow gets to his feet - Zaromskis follows without any prompting. Snow shoots and misses and Zaromskis counters with a single leg into guard. Snow didn't expect that. Snow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Snow keeping moving, preventing Zaromskis from controlling successfully. Snow had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zaromskis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Snow Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zaromskis 's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaromskis is keeping busy.
Zaromskis surviving as best he can, preventing damage. Snow gets his hands free as Zaromskis looks to control. Zaromskis is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Snow is staying active. Zaromskis turns into Snow and is now in his guard.
Zaromskis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Zaromskis tries to free his leg and advance position but Snow is retaining full guard. Zaromskis trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow wants to sweep here but Zaromskis controlling him for the moment.

Snow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zaromskis 's head. Snow trying to control but Zaromskis is working from the bottom. Zaromskis keeping full guard, as Snow tries to pass. Marius Zaromskis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Snow gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zaromskis swivels and escapes. Snow tries a head kick but it misses.
Zaromskis dodges the punch combination from Snow.
Zaromskis moves out of range of the body kick. Snow throws a nice looking combination but Zaromskis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zaromskis fails with the takedown and Snow counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zaromskis won't be happy with that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snow looks up at the clock and then as Zaromskis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Snow smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Zaromskis gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
And that's the end of the fight! Garth Snow showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
