Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Tiongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lupoy Si (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Tiongson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lupoy Si!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Si tries to clinch but Tiongson moves away
and Tiongson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tiongson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Si manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tiongson shoots for a double leg takedown but Si sprawls well. He's pushed Tiongson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oooooh!!! Tiongson has knocked Si down with a huge combo! Tiongson steps away and waves a wobbly Si back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Lupoy Si has been cut.

Tiongson has closed the distance and engaged Si in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tiongson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Si but Si pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tiongson tries to score with a low kick but Si moves his leg out of the way.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
No luck for Tiongson with that takedown attempt.

Tiongson shoots in looking for a takedown. Si tries to sprawl out of it but Tiongson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Si manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Si misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tiongson misses with a takedown attempt - Si sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Tiongson counters with a good low kick that Si was not able to check.

Si has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tiongson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
