Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rj Paned! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spider misses with a body shot.
Spider throws a head kick but Paned moves out of range.
Spider scores with a spinning back kick! Spider tries a head kick but it misses.
A leg kick checked by Paned. Spider lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Rj Paned has been cut. Anderson Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spider gets tackled into the cage by Paned. Paned maintains the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paned prevents a takedown attempt there.
Paned tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Spider avoids it. Paned is looking to break free of the clinch but Spider has double underhooks. Spider goes for a takedown attempt but Paned pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Paned has eaten all the pies! Spider throws the left hand but Paned avoids the punch easily. Paned shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Paned performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spider is trying to get back to full guard. Paned looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spider wants to control but Paned is keeping busy and won't allow it. Spider is breathing heavily. Paned decides to return to a standing position. Spider thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Paned if he has to take too many more of those.
Paned shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Paned throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Spider has his hands clasped together but Paned breaks the hold and Spider is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Paned!
