Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Najman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Goos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcin Najman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Goos! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Goos trying to control the action but Najman is working from the bottom. Najman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Najman is not content to let Goos control the position. Goos tries to move to mount but Najman blocks the move with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goos working away. Goos wants to control but Najman is keeping him busy. Goos has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Najman is working to get back to half guard.
Goos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Goos tries to control but Najman wriggling away. Najman really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Najman is squirming around, avoiding Goos's attempts to control the action. Najman has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Goos's lack of action.
Goos trying to control the action but Najman is working from the bottom. Najman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Najman is staying active underneath Goos, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Goos passes to side control. Najman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Najman is not content to let Goos control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Najman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Goos trying to control the position but Najman is working away. Najman stops Goos from passing to mount. Goos looks up at the clock and then as Najman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Goos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Najman prevents Goos from moving into mount. Najman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Goos has just dragged him back down to the mat. Najman is breathing heavily. Goos trying to control the position but Najman is working away. The referee asks Goos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Goos prefers to stall for the moment though. Najman prevents Goos from improving position. Goos working away. Goos staying calm. Goos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Najman has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Najman is looking to regain half guard here but Goos keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Goos dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Goos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Najman. Najman lands with a slapping head kick. Goos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Najman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Goos's guard. Goos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Najman wanted to stand there but Goos had control of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Najman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Najman wants to pass the guard but Goos is keeping the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Roy Goos hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Goos with a lazy takedown attempt and Najman counters with a three punch combo that has Goos backing up. Goos nods at Najman to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Najman scores a takedown into full mount! Najman unloads with some shots from mount but Goos bucks and avoids them well.
Goos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Goos makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Goos. Goos is trying to control the position but Najman postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goos is adopting a defensive guard. Najman looking to sit in guard and control but Goos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Goos trying to control the position from guard on top but Najman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Goos is pushing down on Najman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Najman is fighting to maintain full guard but Goos has managed to sneak the leg through. Goos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Najman keeps working. Goos with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Goos looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Goos in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Najman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Goos!
