Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karumoka Warakasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warakasa has chosen Thy Serpent - Deathbearer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Patrick Bateman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karumoka Warakasa! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bateman swats away the attempt to clinch by Warakasa. Warakasa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bateman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bateman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bateman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Warakasa is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Bateman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bateman tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Warakasa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bateman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Warakasa is trying to stand up here but Bateman is controlling him well. Bateman wants to control but Warakasa is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warakasa is looking to improve his position.

Bateman is looking to take a break and control but Warakasa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bateman prevents Warakasa from improving his position. Warakasa is defending against the submission attempts here by Bateman.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bateman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Warakasa's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Warakasa wants to get back to full guard. Warakasa is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Bateman prevents Warakasa from improving his position. Warakasa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bateman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bateman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warakasa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bateman wants to pass the guard but Warakasa is defending well. Bateman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bateman is looking for a kimura here.

Bateman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Warakasa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Karumoka Warakasa was stalling too much, according to the referee. Warakasa throws a looping overhand right but Bateman ducks down to avoid it. The fight stays on the outside here - Warakasa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bateman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bateman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Warakasa has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bateman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Warakasa tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Warakasa wants to clinch up but Bateman keeps it at a distance. Karumoka Warakasa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bateman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Warakasa is looking to regain half guard here but Bateman keeps moving and retains side control. Warakasa holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Bateman wants to stand but Warakasa has his arm trapped. Bateman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Warakasa tries to improve position but can't. Warakasa sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Warakasa is holding on to half guard well. Bateman missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Bateman passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Warakasa! Bateman is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Warakasa has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bateman prevents Warakasa from getting the reversal. Bateman punching from mount but Warakasa doing a good job of avoiding damage. Warakasa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Warakasa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bateman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warakasa trying to control but Bateman is working from the bottom. Warakasa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Warakasa wants to pass the guard but Bateman is keeping the position. Warakasa landing with the ground and pound. Bateman keeping full guard, as Warakasa tries to pass. Bateman working for a triangle but Warakasa defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bateman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Warakasa rolls with it to try and escape but Bateman cranks on the arm and Warakasa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
