Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenpachi Kurosaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Smith! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith fails with a takedown attempt. A nice combination there by Kurosaki.
It looks like Sean Smith has been cut. Kurosaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Kurosaki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage. Kurosaki is looking to break free of the clinch but Smith has double underhooks. Kurosaki working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kurosaki stalling against the cage.
Kurosaki gets underhooks to prevent Smith's takedown attempt.
Kurosaki lands an uppercut. Kurosaki could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Smith managing to block the knees to the body from Kurosaki.
Smith is trying to drag Kurosaki to the mat but Kurosaki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kenpachi Kurosaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Smith. Kurosaki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Smith is trying to drag Kurosaki to the mat but Kurosaki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kurosaki controlling the action here for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosaki gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith has Kurosaki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kurosaki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kurosaki stops a takedown attempt from Smith.

Kurosaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kurosaki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kurosaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Smith slips a jab and a cross from Kurosaki.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kurosaki throws a good cross that connects.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kurosaki connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Smith! He's out on his feet! Kurosaki rushes in and drops Smith with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kenpachi Kurosaki!
