Washington comes to the cage accompanied by Black & Yellow. Boy has chosen New York as his entrance music. The key to victory for Corey Washington has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Corey Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fourth Boy! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Washington feints and as Boy raises his hands in defense, Washington changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boy controls Washington momentarily but Washington frees himself. Washington works over Boy with some ground and pound from guard. Boy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Washington is aware though and is defending well. Boy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boy looking for a sweep. Not yet Boy, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Washington won't allow Boy to sweep him here. Washington trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Washington thows a big elbow that misses. Washington has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Washington is breathing heavily. Boy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Washington is one step ahead there. Boy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Washington?
Washington is wriggling around trying to escape.
Boy lands a big shot there that rocks Washington but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Boy with shots to the head and body - Washington looks very uncomfortable down there. Boy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Washington can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Boy quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Boy but it's paid off an Washington is forced to tap! Nice work by Boy.
