Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Gotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zunder Smythe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Gotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zunder Smythe! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gotch drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gotch controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Smythe keeping moving, preventing Gotch from controlling successfully. Gotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smythe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gotch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smythe's guard. Gotch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gotch could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gotch is looking to advance position but Smythe won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotch is looking to take a break and control but Smythe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gotch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smythe defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gotch seems to be working for a kimura but Smythe defends the submission attempt. Smythe pushes Gotch off looking to stand but Gotch dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gotch seems to be working for a kimura but Smythe defends the submission attempt. Gotch is trying to work for a kimura but Smythe is defending well.

Gotch passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Smythe!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gotch wants to control but Smythe has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Smythe is refusing to be controlled, as Gotch sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Smythe won't allow Gotch to pass to mount. Gotch trying to control from half guard but Smythe is working away. Smythe looks like he's trying to stand up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gotch is pressing down on Smythe's thigh, looking to free his foot. Smythe is holding on for now. Gotch passes the guard and advances to mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smythe is squirming around, avoiding Gotch's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gotch shoots in and bounces Smythe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Smythe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gotch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gotch is pushing down on Smythe's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smythe is fighting to maintain full guard but Gotch has managed to sneak the leg through. Gotch works his foot free and advances to mount. Gotch tries to control but Smythe wriggling away. Gotch is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smythe has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gotch is looking to work his way around to Smythe's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Gotch throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Smythe because Gotch loaded up on that one. Smythe is squirming around, avoiding Gotch's attempts to control the action. Gotch wants to finish this one by submission but Smythe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gotch. Gotch content just to control the position here.

Gotch looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gotch is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Smythe is in real trouble.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smythe prevents Gotch from getting a body triangle. Gotch trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Smythe doesn't escape. Gotch has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Smythe is in real trouble here. Gotch gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Smythe is tapping out! Gotch wins by rear naked choke!
