Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexandar Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzuke Hiroshiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spartacus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to clubbed to death. On his way into the cage it seems that Alexandar Spartacus has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexandar Spartacus seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartacus avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Spartacus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hiroshiba takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Spartacus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Spartacus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hiroshiba throws a front kick aimed at Spartacus's knee but Spartacus avoids it well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hiroshiba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hiroshiba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spartacus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hiroshiba is nestled in close to Spartacus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hiroshiba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spartacus keeps working.

Hiroshiba fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Spartacus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hiroshiba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spartacus keeps working.

Hiroshiba goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Spartacus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hiroshiba but great work by Spartacus.

Nice takedown defense from Spartacus. No joy for Hiroshiba on that attempt.

and Hiroshiba counters with a straight right hand.
Spartacus is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Hiroshiba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hiroshiba in particular looking to stall.

Hiroshiba thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spartacus's head.
Hiroshiba is taking a breather. Spartacus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
