Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bill Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathias Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders's entrance music is List of Demands. A fine choice. Bill Sanders could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mathias Jansen's chin.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Sanders! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mathias Jansen! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders wants to clinch. Sanders misses with a two punch combination.
Jansen misses with the combination.
Sanders circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanders stuffs the takedown. Sanders tries for a takedown but Jansen circles away easily and Jansen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sanders manages to break the clinch.
Sanders shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jansen as he jumps to the side. Sanders fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanders shoots in and drives through. Jansen sprawls well. Jansen misses with a double jab.
Sanders rushes Jansen and presses him up against the cage. The is referee keeping an eye on Sanders - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Sanders for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Sanders with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Sanders with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Sanders tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jansen just stands there and leans against the cage. Sanders misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sanders jumps guard.
Jansen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sanders's guard. Sanders knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jansen on the ground. Jansen is trying to work for a kimura but Sanders is defending well.
Jansen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sanders knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jansen wants to work for an arm triangle but Sanders is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanders wants to improve his position but Jansen is controlling well.
Jansen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jansen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Sanders is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jansen mounts Sanders! Really nice guard pass there! Sanders is breathing heavily. Sanders defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jansen. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jansen looking to secure an arm triangle but Sanders defends it well. Sanders wants to hold on but Jansen pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jansen working for a guillotine from mount but Sanders is in no mood to give up. Sanders tries to lock up and control but Jansen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jansen prevents Sanders from getting the reversal. Jansen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Jansen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sanders has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sanders! Jansen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Sanders frees his head nicely. Oh but Jansen has switched to an armbar! Sanders is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
