Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Shakesphere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Owczarz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Shakesphere! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Owczarz! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owczarz misses with a combination
and Shakesphere counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shakesphere bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Owczarz's head backwards. Shakesphere misses with a few strikes there.
Shakesphere on the wrong end of a nice jab. Shakesphere lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Owczarz circles away quickly and effectively. Owczarz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shakesphere counters with a one-two to the body. Owczarz throws an off balance right hand
and Shakesphere counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Owczarz misses with a hook
enabling Shakesphere to counter with a crisp jab. Shakesphere throws a series of strikes that have Owczarz backpedaling.
Shakesphere throws a one two combo.
Shakesphere displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Owczarz is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Shakesphere misses with a jab, cross combination.
Owczarz is still on wobbly legs! Can Shakesphere finish him? Shakesphere swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Owczarz. Owczarz throws a right hand that misses
and Shakesphere cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Owczarz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Shakesphere throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Owczarz's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Shakesphere dives in looking to finish as Owczarz flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Shakesphere's strikes! Shakesphere is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Owczarz's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Owczarz was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Shakesphere!
