Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Street (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Ronald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Street comes to the cage accompanied by The Truth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Ronald! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronald bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Street's head. Street checks a low kick from Ronald. Street feints and as Ronald raises his hands in defense, Street changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ronald is adopting a defensive guard. Street looking to sit in guard and control but Ronald gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ronald's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ronald wanted to stand there but Street had control of the position. Street is trying to keep Ronald in close.
Street is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ronald is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
