Maurizio comes into the arena with NMH2: No More Riot blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurizio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maurizio wants to clinch
and Meridius counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maurizio checks a low kick from Meridius.
Maurizio is looking to chop away at Meridius's legs.
Maurizio closes the distance but Meridius moves to the side
and Meridius counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Meridius. Maurizio shrugs it off though.

Maurizio has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Meridius.

Maurizio takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Mick Maurizio has been cut.

Meridius lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Meridius connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Maurizio tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Maurizio takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Maurizio steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Meridius. That one must have hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maurizio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Meridius lands a big head kick that sends Maurizio tumbling to the mat! Meridius takes a step backwards and waves Maurizio back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Maurizio is rocked!
Meridius thuds his shin into the meat of Maurizio's side.
Meridius circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Maurizio drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Meridius follows Maurizio to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
