Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Piano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yrjo Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Piano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Papoose - Born To Win. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Piano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yrjo Jarvinen!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice cross by Piano.
Jarvinen slips under a jab from Piano.
A big left from Piano misses.
Piano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jarvinen counters with a stiff right hand.
Jarvinen dodges the punch combination from Piano.
Jarvinen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jarvinen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jarvinen tries to land a front kick but Piano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jarvinen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


It looks like Yrjo Jarvinen has been cut.
Piano misses with a hook

and Jarvinen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Piano!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Piano manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Jarvinen thows a huge punch but Piano dodges it nicely.
Jarvinen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jarvinen connects with a nice short shot to Piano's temple.
Jarvinen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jarvinen is keen to just control but Piano is a slippery customer.
Piano wants to get back to full guard but Jarvinen has passed into side control.
Piano is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jarvinen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Piano has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jarvinen trying to control the action but Piano is working from the bottom.
Jarvinen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Piano's legs.
Piano tries to bench press Jarvinen off him but Jarvinen keeps the position.

Jarvinen in side control, throwing shots but Piano defends.
Piano tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jarvinen has hold of Piano's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Piano seems comfortable defending it but Jarvinen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Piano is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Piano is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jarvinen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
