The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox slips under a jab from Nakamura.

Nakamura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maddox sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nakamura throws a low kick, looking for Maddox's leg but Maddox calmly moves out of range.
Maddox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maddox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nakamura's guard.

Maddox throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nakamura tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Maddox is in Nakamura's guard.
Maddox postures up in Nakamura's guard and throws a big left but Nakamura blocks it.
