The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Superstrong throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Superstrong tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones swings around for an armbar but Superstrong sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jones's guard.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Superstrong bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Superstrong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Superstrong stands up and waves to Jones to follow him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Superstrong enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Superstrong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Superstrong wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
