Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Negrizolli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson St Pierre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucas Negrizolli! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Negrizolli shoots and misses enabling St Pierre to counter with a crisp jab. St Pierre lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Lucas Negrizolli has been cut. St Pierre is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Negrizolli's half guard. St Pierre controlling the action here. St Pierre winds up and cracks Negrizolli with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. St Pierre stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Negrizolli's head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Anderson St Pierre. St Pierre lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Negrizolli looks gassed! A momentary lapse in concentration from Negrizolli enables St Pierre to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Negrizolli manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Negrizolli looking to sweep here. No luck so far. St Pierre passes easily into side control. Nice work. St Pierre connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Negrizolli some visible discomfort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre trying to control the position but Negrizolli is working away. St Pierre stands up and beckons Negrizolli to his feet. St Pierre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. St Pierre stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. St Pierre decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. St Pierre shoots in and gets a takedown into Negrizolli's guard. Negrizolli has momentary wrist control but St Pierre slips an elbow through the middle. St Pierre stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Negrizolli swivels though and keeps the full guard. St Pierre passes Negrizolli's left leg - he's now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Pierre gets to his feet - back to striking we go! St Pierre closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. St Pierre working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
St Pierre decides to take the fight back to the feet. St Pierre misses with a body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. St Pierre throws a left and a right that both miss
and Negrizolli counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Negrizolli. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! St Pierre breaks from the clinch.
St Pierre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson St Pierre dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lucas Negrizolli's cut. That's time! St Pierre's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
St Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. St Pierre landing strikes, looking to finish! St Pierre lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
St Pierre tries to control but Negrizolli wriggling away. St Pierre scores with a couple of good head shots there.
St Pierre is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! St Pierre extends the arm and Negrizolli is forced to tap!
