The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lopez clinches.
Frisch lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Lopez drags the fight down to the ground.

Lopez is looking for a triangle here but Frisch uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lopez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Frisch asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Frisch decides to stand back up. Frisch steps back and let's Lopez get back to his feet.
Lopez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Frisch.
Lopez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frisch misses with the combination.

Lopez drives through with a takedown into guard.

Frisch wants to stand but Lopez is controlling the position.

Frisch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frisch wants to improve his position but Lopez is controlling well.

and Lopez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Frisch won't be happy with that.
Frisch takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Frisch is looking to regain half guard here but Lopez keeps moving and retains side control.

Lopez stands up and beckons Frisch to his feet.

Frisch throws a combination. Lopez tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Frisch lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Lopez sprawling to the canvas. Frisch follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Lopez hang on?

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Lopez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
