Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zak Mckracken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Sosnowski! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosnowski dodges the punch combination from Mckracken.
Mckracken throws a looping overhand right but Sosnowski ducks down to avoid it. Sosnowski tries for a takedown but Mckracken circles away easily enabling Mckracken to counter with a crisp jab. Mckracken misses the shot to the body. Mckracken lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Sosnowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mckracken counters with a stiff right hand. Mckracken misses with a body shot
and Sosnowski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mckracken's knee momentarily. Sosnowski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mckracken's head. Sosnowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mckracken counters with a stiff right hand. Zak Mckracken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Sosnowski. Sosnowski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sosnowski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sosnowski fails with the takedown and Mckracken counters with a nice body shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Mckracken. Sosnowski misses with a takedown and Mckracken counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sosnowski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mckracken lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Mckracken lands a slapping body shot.
Andrei Sosnowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sosnowski looks gassed! Mckracken lands a two punch combo.
Sosnowski is rocked!
It looks like Andrei Sosnowski has been cut. Mckracken throws a series of strikes that have Sosnowski backpedaling.
Sosnowski is still on wobbly legs! Can Mckracken finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Mckracken misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckracken lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sosnowski falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mckracken dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
