3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caloy Iblasin! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Iblasin misses. Shepherd decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Shepherd missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Shepherd throwing shots but Iblasin is blocking nicely. Shepherd thows a huge punch but Iblasin dodges it nicely.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Shepherd winds up and cracks Iblasin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Shepherd is pressing down on Iblasin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Iblasin is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shepherd not landing any meaningful shots this time. Shepherd missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Shepherd frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shepherd pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Iblasin is bucking up trying to escape but Shepherd cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
