Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Cro Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Ripken Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cro Cop might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Immortal . Mirko Cro Cop has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripken Jr explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

It looks like Mirko Cro Cop has been cut.

Ripken Jr lands a left and a right that send Cro Cop crashing to the mat, dazed. Ripken Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cro Cop is rocked!

Cro Cop has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ripken Jr.
Oh Cro Cop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ripken Jr moves into the clinch.
Cro Cop seems to have got his legs back now.
Ripken Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ripken Jr connects with a combination that backs up Cro Cop into the cage. Ripken Jr lands a flurry of punches that gets past Cro Cop's guard. Cro Cop is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Ripken Jr bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cal Ripken Jr!
