Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim Bo Kyung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Bo Kyung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo Kyung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marsh tries to avoid it but Bo Kyung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marsh to the ground. Marsh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bo Kyung avoids a kick to the body.
Marsh throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Marsh takes a swing at Bo Kyung's ribcage but misses.
Marsh slips a jab from Bo Kyung.
Marsh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bo Kyung moves away.
Bo Kyung is looking to clinch.
Marsh misses with a straight left.

Bo Kyung shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bo Kyung was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marsh can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bo Kyung lands a big shot there that rocks Marsh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Marsh suckers Bo Kyung into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Marsh is now in Bo Kyung's guard!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
