Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Ketchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mike Howe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ketchup!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Howe!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ketchup drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Howe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Howe is trying to escape the position but Ketchup is controlling the position.
Ketchup decides to stand back up.
Ketchup closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Howe did well to prevent Ketchup getting side control.
Ketchup is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howe is trying to control but can't.
Ketchup works his way into side control.
A lull in the action here as Ketchup stalls from top position.
Howe trying his best to control but Ketchup has mounted him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ketchup sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Ketchup seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Howe for as long as he can get away with.
Ketchup is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Ketchup throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ketchup feints and as Howe raises his hands in defense, Ketchup changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ketchup gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Howe takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ketchup.
Ketchup is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Howe gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Ketchup works his way to his opponent's back.
Ketchup is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Howe taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Ketchup.
