Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Procter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cerdan comes to the cage accompanied by French National Anthem. Procter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wild Boys- Hardcore Superstar. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcel Cerdan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Procter! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cerdan cracks Procter with a right hand to the side of the head. Cerdan throws a jab when Procter was well out of range. Procter fakes the leg kick and cracks Cerdan in the body. Procter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cerdan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Liam Procter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cerdan lands a right hook to the body.

Procter tries for a takedown but Cerdan circles away easily and Cerdan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cerdan lands the left hand. Procter with a lazy takedown attempt and Cerdan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Liam Procter has been cut. Marcel Cerdan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Procter.

and Cerdan counters with a one-two to the body. Cerdan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A low kick from Cerdan is predictable there and Procter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Procter has his takedown stuffed and Cerdan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cerdan throws a shot from downtown. Procter moves away and avoids it. Procter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cerdan. Cerdan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Procter clobbers Cerdan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Procter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Procter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Procter nods at Cerdan to acknowledge the strikes. Procter is breathing heavily. Cerdan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Cerdan counters with a right hand to the body. Marcel Cerdan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Procter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Procter misses with a head shot. Procter throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cerdan because Procter loaded up on that one. Procter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cerdan blocking the ground and pound. Cerdan is in a horrible position here. Procter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Procter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cerdan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Liam Procter. Procter moves out of range as Cerdan strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Liam Procter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Procter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
