The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bananer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tupper manages to avoid it.
Bananer motions for Tupper to come forward. Bananer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bananer tries a low kick but Tupper avoids it.
Bananer scores with a shot to the body.
Bananer wants to slow Tupper down by chopping away at his legs.
Bananer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tupper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bananer counters with a series of strikes. Tupper will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bananer misses with a series of wild punches.
Bananer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tupper sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Tupper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tupper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tupper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bananer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tupper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bananer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tupper regains guard.

The crowd cheers as Bananer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tupper doesn't seem phased though.

and Bananer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bananer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
