The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Tanaka.
Tanaka keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bantham.
Tanaka moves out of range as Bantham strikes.
Bantham takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bantham jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bantham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bantham throws a hook but Tanaka blocks it.
Bantham misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanaka scores with a takedown into Bantham's guard.
Tanaka passes Bantham's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Well, if Tanaka is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bantham has hold of Tanaka's hands but Tanaka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tanaka perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Tanaka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tanaka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bantham looks gassed!

Tanaka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bantham takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
