Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Preston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estevan Ledesma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Preston kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Carol of the Bells. Ledesma is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mark Ronson ft Q-Tip - Bang Bang. Estevan Ledesma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Estevan Ledesma! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Preston throws a combination that misses and Preston takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Ledesma is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ledesma throws out a powerful jab. Ledesma gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Preston. Preston swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that John Preston will probably get the nod. That's time! Preston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Preston uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ledesma. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ledesma staying out of range there.

Preston doesn't seem bothered though. Preston connects with a jab. Preston uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ledesma. John Preston is winning the standup battle so far. Ledesma tries to clinch but Preston moves out of range. Preston bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ledesma misses with an uppercut

John Preston dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ledesma manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Estevan Ledesma seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Ledesma digs a right hand underneath Preston's ribcage. Preston let out a lung full of air as it connected. A short right from Ledesma on the inside. A short left from Ledesma. Ledesma turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ledesma manages to end up in side control. Ledesma is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Preston will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Ledesma misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ledesma taking a breather here. Estevan Ledesma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ledesma sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Preston is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ledesma tries to score with some ground and pound. Preston controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Ledesma taking a breather here. Preston prevents Ledesma from moving into mount. Preston is not content to let Ledesma control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Preston stops Ledesma from passing to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Estevan Ledesma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Preston has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
