Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins throws a sloppy body shot
and Halike counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Halike lands with a straight right. Dawkins didn't see that one coming.
Halike defending well as Dawkins loads up on a big left hand.
Dawkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Halike was well out of range. Poor timing from Dawkins.
Dawkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Halike takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Dawkins thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Halike counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dawkins thinking.

and Halike counters with a three punch combo that has Dawkins backing up. Dawkins nods at Halike to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

so Halike counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Halike drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Halike seems to have locked his on tight now - Dawkins screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Halike, as he picks up the win!
