Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Elbaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Randy Savage has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Randy Savage seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Savage showed some decent athleticism there. Savage seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Savage wants to free his trapped foot but Elbaz is holding on for dear life with his legs. Savage controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elbaz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Elbaz is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Randy Savage has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Elbaz.
Savage feints and as Elbaz raises his hands in defense, Savage changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Savage's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Savage has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Randy Savage wasn't doing enough on the ground. Savage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Elbaz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Savage shoots in but no luck this time. Elbaz looks to land a combination but Savage avoids it well. A head kick from Elbaz lands but Savage takes it in his stride. Savage throws a sloppy body shot
and Elbaz counters with a series of strikes. Savage will be more careful next time no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Elbaz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Elbaz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Elbaz duly obliges.
It looks like Randy Savage has been cut. Elbaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Savage to score an easy takedown into full guard. Savage is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elbaz has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Savage off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Elbaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Savage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Elbaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nice straight punches there by Savage. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Savage. Elbaz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Savage shoots in and drives through. Elbaz sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Savage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elbaz throws a one two combo.

and Elbaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Elbaz connects with a leg kick. Savage looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Elbaz misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savage has his takedown stuffed and Elbaz counters with a body kick that stops Savage in his tracks momentarily. Elbaz displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Elbaz scores with a head kick. Savage tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Elbaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Savage. Savage takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Elbaz tries to clinch but Savage is having none of it. Elbaz connects with a high kick. Savage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Elbaz avoids it really well and circles away. A combination from Elbaz does no damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Elbaz stalks Savage and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Savage's face. Savage staggers backwards, shaken. An inside leg kick lands from Elbaz. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Savage crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Elbaz - the referee stops the clock and Savage gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Elbaz. Savage manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Elbaz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randy Savage's cut. That's time! Savage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Savage swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Elbaz counters with an outside leg kick.
Elbaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Savage. Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Savage does no damage. Savage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Elbaz lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Savage thows a left - swing and a miss! Elbaz catches Savage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A left and a right from Elbaz both land. Nice combination.
Savage is rocked! Savage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Savage takes a kick to the side of the head. Oh Savage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Elbaz thuds his right hand into Savage's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Elbaz drops Savage with a naaaaasty hook - Savage is in real trouble here! Elbaz dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Elbaz!
