The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarencev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fedorov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Zarencev would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Zarencev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fedorov sprawls well initially but Zarencev persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Zarencev thows an elbow strike that misses. Fedorov gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Zarencev doesn't seem too bothered but Fedorov quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Zarencev is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Zarencev really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
