Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ishi Inamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ishi Inamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Batista! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inamoto tries for a takedown but Batista circles away easily and Inamoto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Inamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Batista paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ishi Inamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Batista leaves Inamoto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Batista shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Inamoto defends it nicely. Inamoto dips to his left and cracks Batista with an uppercut! Batista tries for a takedown but Inamoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Batista or perhaps it was just good defense by Inamoto which made him look bad. Ishi Inamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Batista. Inamoto looks to land a combination but Batista avoids it well. Batista should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Batista forces Inamoto back against the cage and clinches. Batista pressing his opponent against the cage. Inamoto is trying to break free. Inamoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Batista looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batista wants to take a breather but Inamoto is having none of it. Batista not doing much here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Batista is looking to take a break and control but Inamoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Inamoto wants to improve his position but Batista is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mac Batista has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Inamoto. No joy for Batista on that attempt. Batista shoots in and gets a takedown into Inamoto's guard. Batista trying to control but Inamoto is working from the bottom. Batista is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Batista prevents Inamoto from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batista pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Inamoto is keeping the position for now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Mac Batista hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Inamoto misses with a takedown attempt and Batista counters by moving into the clinch. Inamoto throws an elbow but it misses.

Batista looks gassed! Batista is trying to drag Inamoto to the mat but Inamoto just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Inamoto gets underhooks to prevent Batista's takedown attempt.

Inamoto throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Batista's head. Inamoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inamoto dives in and grabs Batista's left leg, looking for a takedown. Batista pushes down on Inamoto's head and hops out. Inamoto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Batista has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Inamoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Batista as he avoids it easily. Inamoto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Batista decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Inamoto's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Batista wants to control from the top but Inamoto keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Batista controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Batista pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Inamoto is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Batista dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Inamoto feints and as Batista raises his hands in defense, Inamoto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Batista looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Inamoto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Batista is proving hard to escape from. Inamoto gets to his feet - Batista follows without any prompting. Nice straight punches there by Inamoto. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Inamoto. Inamoto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Inamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Inamoto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Batista manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Inamoto thumps Batista with a low kick. Inamoto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Batista sprawls well. Batista wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Inamoto gets slowly back to his feet. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Batista has eaten all the pies!
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Inamoto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Batista throws a head kick that misses and Inamoto counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Batista is lucky that one didn't land flush. Batista closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Inamoto is trying to push Batista away but Batista has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Batista tries for a takedown. No joy.
Inamoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Batista moves out of range as Inamoto throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Batista gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Batista looking to slow down the pace here. Inamoto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Batista turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A head kick misses from Inamoto. Batista pushes Inamoto up against the cage in a clinch. Inamoto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Batista has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Inamoto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ishi Inamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Batista. Inamoto crunches a lovely knee into Batista's ribcage. Batista misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Batista fails to pull guard.
Inamoto lands a shoulder strike. Inamoto lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Inamoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Inamoto shoots in for a double leg but Batista sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Batista attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Inamoto cracks the inside of Batista's front leg. Ishi Inamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Batista shoots in looking for a takedown but Inamoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Batista's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Inamoto clinches up against the cage. Batista on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Batista is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Inamoto pulls him back up using the underhooks. Inamoto tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Batista avoids it. Inamoto prevents a body shot from Batista. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Inamoto missing with knees to the body.

Ishi Inamoto dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Batista swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Batista moves out of range of the leg kick from Inamoto. Inamoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Batista counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Inamoto blocking the ground and pound attempt from Batista. Batista is looking to take a break and control but Inamoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Batista content to control rather than advance. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batista seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inamoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mac Batista. Inamoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Batista moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Inamoto lands a jab to the nose. A slapping leg kick lands for Inamoto.
Inamoto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Batista as he jumps to the side. Inamoto tries to clinch up but Batista circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Batista clinches. Batista tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Inamoto smiles and moves away.
Batista drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Inamoto manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Batista moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Batista trying to control the position.
Inamoto controls from within his opponent's guard. Inamoto will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Inamoto passes easily into side control. Nice work. Batista tries to bench press Inamoto off him but Inamoto keeps the position. Batista is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Inamoto cracks Batista with a big right hand but Batista just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Inamoto has an Americana. Batista didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Inamoto is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Inamoto hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
