The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMurray scores with a nice head shot.

McMurray moves into range and clinches up with Meeoff.
Meeoff is trying to break the clinch but McMurray is controlling him.
McMurray scores with a shoulder strike.

Meeoff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McMurray takes the fight into the clinch.
McMurray lands on the inside with an uppercut.
McMurray throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

McMurray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McMurray rushes Meeoff and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

McMurray manages to break the clinch.
Meeoff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McMurray listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
McMurray lands a lovely overhand right.
McMurray scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Meeoff takes one on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Meeoff with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McMurray to score with a decent uppercut.
Meeoff misses with a double jab
and McMurray counters with a one-two to the body.
McMurray scores with a punch to the head.
McMurray connects with a body shot.
Meeoff dodges the punch combination from McMurray.
Jack Meeoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McMurray lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
McMurray throws a combination. Meeoff tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Meeoff is rocked!

McMurray drops Meeoff with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Meeoff! McMurray dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
