The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson tries for a takedown but Man Choi circles away easily and Man Choi counters with a lovely straight right hand! Man Choi tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson rushes Man Choi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Man Choi lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Dave Johnson has been cut. Man Choi has picked Johnson up - he's going for a ride! Man Choi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Johnson is trying to maintain the position but Man Choi is very close to passing his half guard. Man Choi wants to take a breather but Johnson is having none of it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson trying to control but Man Choi postures up.
Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Man Choi pulls his head out easily. Johnson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man Choi sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Johnson defending well though. Man Choi trying to control the pace. Johnson is trying to control but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Man Choi closes the distance and clinches. Johnson has Man Choi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Man Choi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Man Choi just stands there and leans against the cage. Semmy Man Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Johnson. A shot in the inside from Man Choi. Johnson looking for a takedown. Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Man Choi walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Man Choi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Man Choi is in Johnson's guard. Man Choi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man Choi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Man Choi is in close to Johnson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Man Choi wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Man Choi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Man Choi trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson looking to control.
Man Choi stands up over Johnson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Man Choi stopping the sweep attempt from Johnson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Johnson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Johnson looks gassed! Man Choi throws a big right hand that misses. Man Choiis looking to pass into half guard but Johnson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Johnson is in guard. Man Choi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Man Choi has his hands on Johnson's head, controlling the position. Johnson advances position into side control! Man Choi holding on. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Semmy Man Choi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dave Johnson's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Man Choi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Man Choi blocks the body kick.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Man Choi! Man Choi is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Johnson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Johnson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Johnson cracks Man Choi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Man Choi hang on? Man Choi wants to hold on but Johnson pushes him away. Man Choi tries to reverse the position but Johnson maintains control. Johnson working away from the top, dropping strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson avoids the attempt from Man Choi to control. Johnson looking to control but Man Choi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Man Choi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Johnson lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dave Johnson's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Man Choi wants to clinch. Man Choi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Semmy Man Choi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man Choi manages to get himself to full guard.

Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Man Choi! Johnson trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Man Choi tries to reverse the position but Johnson maintains control. Johnson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Man Choi hang on?
It looks like Semmy Man Choi has been cut. Johnson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Man Choi has worked his arm free - good work by Man Choi!
