PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Napolitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Napo gonna get smashed. Napolitano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammar gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A lazy left from Napolitano finds it's target.
Napolitano clobbers Hammar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Napolitano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hammar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Napolitano has managed to get both his arms back between Hammar's legs - danger averted.

Napolitano lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

What can Hammar do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Let's hope that Napolitano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hammar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Napolitano is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hammar, into his guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
