Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Rucinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes into the arena with Been to Hell blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rucinski's choice of entrance music: Lil Wayne - Drop The World ft. Eminem. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Karol Rucinski enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karol Rucinski! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Rucinski throws a poor cross that misses
and Diaz counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rucinski is trying to force a seperation but Diaz has the dominant position. Rucinski tries to score a body lock takedown but Diaz shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Diaz jumps guard and drags Rucinski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rucinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Diaz trying to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Nick Diaz wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Diaz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Karol Rucinski has been cut. Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Rucinski throws a hook to the side of Diaz's head but Diaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rucinski just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rucinski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rucinski is looking for a sweep. Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rucinski on the ground. Rucinski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rucinski is trying to get back to full guard. Rucinski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily. Rucinski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rucinski is trying to stand back up but Diaz is controlling him
Diaz tries to pass to full mount but Rucinski defends it. Rucinski is looking to improve his position.
Rucinski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rucinski slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Diaz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rucinski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diaz has managed to get both his arms back between Rucinski's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rucinski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rucinski is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rucinski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rucinski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Diaz! Rucinski moves to take his opponent's back. Well, with Rucinski on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Diaz is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rucinski has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Diaz preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Rucinski. Diaz rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

A close round but Karol Rucinski will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Karol Rucinski's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rucinski is looking to clinch. Rucinski throws a leg kick that is checked and Diaz counters with a low kick, right behind Rucinski 's knee. Diaz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rucinski's half guard. Rucinski trying to get back to full guard but Diaz takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Rucinski wants to hold on but Diaz pushes him away. Rucinski is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rucinski bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Diaz working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rucinski sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rucinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rucinski is looking to work some ground and pound but Diaz has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rucinski looking to pass the guard. Diaz is trying to keep Rucinski in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Diaz. Rucinski misses with a looping right. Rucinski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rucinski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rucinski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rucinski is not content to let Diaz control the position. Rucinski holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rucinski tries to improve position but can't. Rucinski is trying to control Diaz's posture but Diaz avoids it. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Rucinski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rucinski regains half guard. Rucinski is looking for a sweep. Diaz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rucinski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rucinski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rucinski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Karol Rucinski has got the better of the ground game so far. Rucinski controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Diaz dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Karol Rucinski's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Diaz avoids the body shot from Rucinski.
A shot to the body from Rucinski misses and Diaz counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rucinski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rucinski shoots for a takedown but Diaz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Diaz throws a head kick but Rucinski moves out of range.
A chopping leg kick lands by Diaz. Rucinski misses the shot to the body. Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rucinski. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rucinski moves away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Diaz duly obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rucinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rucinski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Diaz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rucinski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rucinski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rucinski is stalling in the full guard. Diaz is looking to stand up but Rucinski isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rucinski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rucinski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rucinski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Diaz did well to prevent Rucinski getting side control. Rucinski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Karol Rucinski was stalling too much, according to the referee. Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rucinski moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz tries to clinch but Rucinski is having none of it. Rucinski checks a leg kick nicely. Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rucinski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diaz manages to avoid it. No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rucinski wants to clinch. Rucinski feints and as Diaz raises his hands in defense, Rucinski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rucinski stands and throws Diaz's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rucinski throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Rucinski taking a breather here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Karol Rucinski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rucinski takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Karol Rucinski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rucinski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
