Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jane Speedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Speedo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Pukki throws an off balance right hand
and Speedo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Joulu Pukki has been cut.

Pukki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Speedo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pukki.
Speedo tries to lock up and control but Pukki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Speedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pukki on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pukki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Speedo looks a forlorn figure.
Pukki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Pukki has control of Speedo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Speedo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pukki shoots in looking for a takedown. Speedo tries to sprawl out of it but Pukki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Speedo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Speedo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Pukki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Speedo is out of range and Pukki settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Speedo is pawing at Pukki, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Pukki's nose. Pukki is badly hurt! Speedo pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Pukki tries desperately to hold on but Speedo is relentless in his assault! As Pukki receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Speedo away and this one is in the books!
