Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Happy Brusko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Karusa! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brusko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Karusa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Brusko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Karusa as he avoids it easily. Brusko slips a jab and a cross from Karusa.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Brusko. Brusko lands a nice forearm strike. Brusko tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brusko thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Karusa is letting Brusko control him for a moment. Karusa is looking for a sweep. Brusko has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Karusa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Brusko yanks on the arm and Karusa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Brusko.
