Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiho Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Krun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hiho Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Krun! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krun rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Silva tries to circle away but Krun has him pinned against the cage. Silva blocking some punches.
Silva using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krun has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Krun misses with some punches.
Krun gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.

Silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Krun shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiho Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva trying to stall but Krun improves his position.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Krun avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Krun managing to block the knees to the body from Silva.
Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krun pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Krun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. Silva is breathing heavily. Silva gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Krun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Krun takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Krun's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Krun landing shots from mount. Krun sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Krun lands a heavy elbow. Krun content just to control the position here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krun stands up from mount. Strange move. Krun swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Krun clinches up against the cage. Silva changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Krun fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Krun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Krun breaks the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Krun manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Krun tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Krun fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Krun throws a head punch that misses. Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Krun gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Krun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Krun moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Krun manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Krun looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Krun controlling Silva's posture. Krun wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment. Krun controlling Silva's posture. Krun tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Krun has his hands on Silva's head, controlling the position.
 Gustavo Krun has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Silva throws a head kick but Krun moves out of range.
Krun shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Silva is trying to defend but Krun finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Krun has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Krun controlling his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krun lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Gustavo Krun dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Krun looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Krun lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Krun lands a big elbow. Silva is looking to get to half guard. Krun controlling from the full mount. Silva is controlling an arm, preventing Krun from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Krun sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Silva in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Krun looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krun stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krun throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Krun gets in close and instigates a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Silva. Krun content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Krun pushes off an throws an elbow but Silva leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Krun has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Silva clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Krun really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Silva. Silva is trying to break free.
Krun biding his time, looking for the opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krun is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Silva has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Krun has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Silva taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Krun doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gustavo Krun!
