The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kome falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Senseney counter with a right hand.
Kome wants to clinch but Senseney slips to the side
letting Senseney counter with a right hand.
Kome misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Senseney.
Senseney moves into the clinch.
Senseney wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kome has him pressed against the cage.

Senseney closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Senseney wants to take a breather but Kome is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cody Senseney.

Senseney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kome tries to avoid it but Senseney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kome to the ground. Kome escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Senseney counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Senseney.
Kome wants to stand but Senseney is controlling the position.
