The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doner slips a jab and a cross from Dos Santos.
Doner fails with the takedown
and Dos Santos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

so Dos Santos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dos Santos is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Doner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dos Santos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Doner's head.
Dos Santos prevents Doner from getting back to his feet.
Doner controls Dos Santos momentarily but Dos Santos frees himself.

Dos Santos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Doner, up you get!

Doner closes the distance but Dos Santos moves to the side
and Dos Santos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dos Santos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dos Santos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Doner throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dos Santos's body to avoid the submission. Dos Santos has instead reached around Doner's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dos Santos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
