Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Nose!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Simpson misses with a left hand
and Nose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Simpson throws a lazy uppercut
and Simpson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Simpson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nose counters with a straight right hand.
Simpson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nose is out of range.
Simpson cracks Nose with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Simpson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Simpson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Nose counters with a stiff right hand.

and Nose counters with a straight right hand.
Simpson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nose on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Simpson . Simpson obviously looking to wear him down.
Simpson misses with a left hand
enabling Nose to counter with a crisp jab.
Nose dives in and grabs Simpson 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Simpson pushes down on Nose's head and hops out.
Simpson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nose is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Simpson .

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Simpson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Nose cracks a nice hook into Simpson 's ribs.
Nose darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Simpson is trying to maintain the position but Nose is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Homer Simpson just wasn't active enough.

Good leg kick by Simpson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Nose closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Simpson to the mat! Simpson manages to get full guard.

Nose trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Nose counters with a takedown into side control.
Nose laying and praying for a moment but Simpson takes advantage and regains half guard.
Simpson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nose's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nose's back!
Simpson doesn't have the hooks in and Nose manages to turn into his guard.

Simpson trying to control but Nose is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Simpson prevents Nose from getting the reversal.
Simpson wants to control the pace but Nose is squirming around nicely.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nose can't escape the position.
Simpson wants to stand but Nose is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Simpson throws a sloppy head kick and Nose moves out of range easily.
Nose has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Simpson finds it's way round the side to connect with Nose's head.
Simpson scores with a sloppy right hand. Nose should have avoided that one.

so Nose counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Simpson is trying to control the position but Nose postures up.

Ronnie Nose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nose.
Simpson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Nose decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Simpson 's guard.
Simpson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nose is one step ahead there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nose wants to pass the guard but Simpson is keeping the position.

Nose rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nose wants to control from the top but Simpson keeps moving.

Simpson tries to lock up and control but Nose gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ronnie Nose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nose winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
